I focus on developing computation- and memory-efficient deep neural networks for computer vision, language, and multimodal tasks through dynamic structural compression. My research explores the evolution of deep neural networks under varying task complexities by designing methods for complexity estimation and optimizing model architectures across different domains. Additionally, I investigate ultra-long-term dynamic system control using deep reinforcement learning. I also work on designing and implementing cost-effective, resource-efficient, and accessible mobile systems that leverage multimodal data for assessing and ensuring the reliability of transportation infrastructure.
